Elaine Turner has recently joined the consulting staff of Healthcare Placement Group, Inc. She was previously a senior consultant with Korn/Ferry International and Witt/Kieffer, a national executive search firm, with a practice specializing in healthcare and higher education.

During her 12-year career in executive search, the majority of her projects were positions in fundraising. She has placed development leadership in hospital foundations, health system foundations, children's hospitals, universities, academic medical centers, liberal arts colleges, science institutes, and numerous non-profit organizations.

Elaine has been an active participant in community and professional organizations, such as the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is a frequent speaker for the Southern California Association of Healthcare Development and has served as a professional resource for UCLA Extension classes on development certification.

Elaine is also involved with the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences and is responsible for securing internships and employment in the biotechnology industry for students earning a Masters of Bioscience degree.

Elaine received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California Los Angeles.
